The Villa is a unique example of 16th Century architecture and thanks to a very careful restoration over the last few years, the Villa has been restored to its former glory and still retains its original Tuscan character and charm.

Since the Villa is very spacious, the Ground floor where the state rooms are, has been conserved in its original state, complete with all the antique furniture, living room with original wood fireplace and panoramic loggias (covered terraces), all of which is accessible to guests of the Estate.
The first floor of the Villa, however, has been transformed into several very spacious and luxury, panoramic apartments and the upper floors, further 7 beautifully furnished apartments. Furthermore, there is a wonderful Wellness and Spa Centre on the underground level which offers guests a very unique and also relaxing atmosphere and which is open all year round.

The Villa’s former annexes have also been converted into several delightful farmhouse style apartments.

This property estate comprises apartments, placed in the different buildings that used to make up the original country home.  There are no elevators in any of the divisions of the "borgo": at the most you may have 2 floors, but stairs were kept due to the preservation of the original style. The apartments can be found inside  the Grinder, the Farm House, the Saw Mill, the Hayloft, and the Belvedere, all of these surrounding a central "Piazzetta" and with the original paths leading from one place to the other. The Store House was turned into lofts as it has open large spaces.

While the ones on the ground floor may have access to a private garden area, the superior ones are gifted with an outstanding view of the valley of Lucca. Heating and kitchen facilities are provided so that you can prepare your own meals.
